Most locations in the central NJ area received between 2 and 5 inches of rain over the past two days, with some more rain on the way today and tonight. Some isolated areas have already received more. Bridgewater township in Somerset county received 4.76 inches of rain, while East Brunswick in Middlesex county received 7.45 inches of rain (NWS).
The rainfall has caused flooding on the Millstone River which is cresting today. Blackwell's Mills and Griggstown are flooded at this time.
